CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


KRIPALU YOGA WITH KATHLEEN

Yoga of Compassion.  You will experience ancient postures (asanas), unique breathing techniques (pranayama), and quiet relaxation (savasana) in a mindful manner that will allow you to release, relax and rejuvenate.  This class is designed for you to meet yourSelf.    All Levels Welcome.


KRIPALU BLEND WITH KATHLEEN

We will have fun in this class exploring the more subtle levels of energy in your yoga practice.  We will start with Sun Salutations and incorporate ancient pranayama with the holding of asanas.  Mudras and mantras will be weaved into the blend to affect the energy body for upliftment and ease.  Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra will seal our practice.


Align & Flow Level 1.5 WITH SHARON

This class is a great fit as the next level for beginners who wants to continue to broaden their practice introducing more advanced postures and breath-work to build strength, stamina, and flexibility. Level 1.5 is also the perfect class for those working with injuries and for longtime yogis who want a slower pace to focus on the integration and balance of mind, body, and breath. HATHA BLEND LEVELS 1-2 WITH SHARON

For Level 1 – 2 yogis.  Hatha Blend offers a wide variety and balance combination of postures with attention given to alignment.  Students will continue to deepen their pranayama (breathing) practice and their understanding of yoga principles and philosophy. 


 


 




You don’t need to be flexible or experienced, just willing!

 

ENERGY MEDICINE YOGA

EMYoga combines ancient energy medicine techniques such as tapping and acupressure holds, into a traditional yoga practice to amplify its healing power. The Essential Energy Medicine Yoga Practice is time-honored methods to bring your whole body into balance so you can thrive!

THE FIVE ELEMENT FLOW

The 5 Elements, water, wood, fire, earth, and metal make up everything in the universe, including you. Through a simple indicator process, learn your primary element. Use your primary element as a lens to process emotions, health challenges and behavior patterns that may be in need of harmony. This simple but potent tool uses asanas, breathing, and sound to know the Self.

 

IRON YOGA

This class consists of basic yoga postures with hand weights of 1 – 3 lbs.  We will use slow breath work and movement to entice the peak performance of muscles.  We will use the weights to work arms, shoulder, chest, back and core while holding standing and balancing postures. This is a fun and focused class.  All are welcome.  Weights are provided.  

 

KRIPALU YOGA FOR STRENGTH AND CALM

Kat Abrams will lead you into full body stretches and diverse asana flows for your core, hips, shoulders, back, leg, and feet limbering/strength and stability. Yogic breathing for more youthful energy and mental calm. Kat teaches integrative thought patters of radical acceptance, mindfulness, witnessing, embodiment, and compassionate awareness.

GENTLE KRIPALU YOGA FOR A BETTER BACK

Practice Kat Abram’s effective core, back, and spine strengthening practice. Enjoy the journey through Kat’s guided meditation and sacred rest practice as well. This practice will be uplifting and expansive to activate greater mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual connectedness. Your body will re-align, purify, heal, and open to greater vitality.
